Naomi Hart gently ruffled the little girl’s soft hair, a rare, unguarded smile softening her face. Then she turned to Derek Sinclair and offered him the same quiet gratitude.

Nothing in the world could have made her happier than finding the family she had lost so long ago.
A short while later the group returned to the Sinclair estate. The servants had already prepared two guest rooms and carefully unpacked Naomi’s modest luggage.
