Wren The house is empty when I wake up. Ezra didn’t come to bed, the evidence is in the coolness of his side. My heart sinks to my stomach, a frown pulling on my lips. With a sigh, I do my daily clean up, and take a shower, settling in front of the TV a few hours later. And then, I call Judi. She answers after the fourth ring. “Hey, honey.” Her breathy voice reaches my ears.
