It was a stunning day. The sun was bright, and the sky was clear. The air was cold as it swept across my face, but it smelled sweet.
It has been a long time since I've been able to appreciate the sunshine, or anything else for that matter. Finally making peace with Amanda and having her in my life again made me snap out of my depression. I didn't feel so alone anymore. Although I still didn't trust her completely again, I was happy that we were talking again and that we were on the road to fixing our relationship.
