Emma's POV. I woke up abruptly in the middle of the night with images of Amanda and her parents, mixed with images of my parents, running through my mind. My heart was aching terribly, and I had a huge lump in my throat. The cabin was completely dark, the forgotten embers in the fireplace flickered hopelessly as they tried not to go out.
