It had been almost a month since I did as Emma asked and left the compound. It hasn't been easy at all. I missed her more and more every single day and I longed to be with her every day. At least she's sent me a few updates on the baby and the pregnancy and they both seem to be doing well. Other than that, she hasn't spoken to me at all, except once, to tell me that she needs more time.
Amanda also tried calling a few times. She left voice messages, in tears, apologizing profusely and begging for advice on how to handle the situation with Emma.
