It had been almost a month since the attack on our pack, and life on the compound had gone back to normal. The surviving wolves from our pack had settled into the routine nicely, and they were smiling more and more lately. I think that keeping busy with the daily tasks on the compound helped to keep their minds off of what happened and all the pack members that they lost.
Amanda and her parents seemed really happy to be reunited. They spent all their time together, like they were afraid to let each other out of their sight in case something happened again.
