Shaun's POV.
"Jason, mate, wait up?"
Jason spun around to face me. He was on his way up to the pack house. His face was strangely expressionless. He also didn't say anything. He just waited for me. I took a deep breath as I closed the distance between us. I felt nervous.
"Have you seen Emma around? I checked our room, but she wasn't there. I also checked with Alice, but she's not at the clinic either."
Jason thought for a few seconds, then shook his head. "Not today brother, sorry." He turned on his heel again and began climbing the stairs. Things between us have been strained since the incident in the clinic. Emma wouldn't even see me. She stayed locked away in our room and only allowed Amanda in. Amanda said that Emma was okay, but that she was hurt and that she wasn't ready to face
