"I wish you didn't have to go," I told Ethan as I walked with him downstairs.
"I wish I didn't have to leave either, but it is important that I find Vera and Jane. I hate knowing they are out there somewhere and can strike at any minute," Ethan replied. It was Saturday, and my birthday was a day away. Ethan wanted to go out and see if he could find Vera and Jane before then.
