Everyone stands silently as Quirin walks away with Henry. He’s probably the best person to drive Quirin home in his current state. I know I lost my s**t when Yara was taken from me. I was ready to burn the world to the ground to find her. But somehow, I don’t think I was ever as dark and brutal as Quirin. Goddess help anyone who ever hurts someone that man loves.
I turn back, looking at Christer’s previous pack. I realize by the looks on their faces that it’s extremely unlikely that anyone will ever dare to touch or even look cross-eyed at a Harris again. I’m not sure what that means for his myriad of daughters, but as their grandfather, I’m glad to know that just the threat of their father will keep them safe.
