I absolutely adore these girls. I think I might love them even more now, knowing they wanted me to be part of their family. How sweet is that? And how wonderful is it to learn that I actually AM part of their family? Being mated to Henry makes me their aunt. I hadn’t considered that bonus, or all the other family I'd inherit, because I'm mated to him.
I smile at him as the girls warn him that he’s in trouble once we’re done sparring. His eyes shift over to me, hearing my thoughts. I send a wave of happiness and appreciation through the link, letting him know how much I value being his mate.
When the girls turn back to me, I take them both on at once. Once again, I’m impressed at how strong they are for their age and how intelligent they are in their fighting techniques.
