I’m exhausted by the time we get back to my room. As much as I want another round, or ten, with my mate, curling up with my head on this chest and his arms wrapped around me feels just as good. I’m asleep quickly and still deeply asleep when I hear my phone buzzing with a text message.
Henry grunts and reaches out to the nightstand, grabbing both our phones. He hands me mine and I blink at the light from my phone, waiting for my eyes to adjust before reading the text.
Hacker: Alpha Glenn and Alpha Grady have been taken into custody. Alpha Gage is Alpha now.
Since I see it’s a group text with Henry on it as well, I reach behind me and put the phone on the nightstand, before snuggling against his chest. He reaches out to put his phone beside mine, then wraps his arm around me.
