“What?” I ask, tearing my eyes away from Henry.
“I asked if you were going to stare at Alpha Henry for the entirety of our lunch,” Vivienne says slowly, giving me a look.
“Do you see him interacting with Alpha Quirin’s pups?” I ask, my eyes drawn back to the man who is holding a newborn in the crook of his arm like he’s been doing it for years. Maybe he has. And somehow, he’s also managing to help feed one of the other pups while maintaining a conversation with the adults around him.
“Yeah. Not all Alphas are like your father, Piper. Of course, until Alpha Quirin, I thought they were all alike,” Viv says.
