I was so nervous to meet Jude’s family. If his family is as important to him as my family is to me, then I know it means everything to him that they like me. While I appreciate his confidence that they will, I’m not willing to risk them getting a bad impression of me on our first meeting. The moment we stepped out of the security area, I saw a family of blond-headed people. Unlike my family that is a cross between my father’s dark hair and my mother’s lighter brown hair, everyone in Jude’s family is blonde. Some are darker blond than others, but they all have blond hair
