The minute Siren stepped into the packhouse, I knew they had a scrambler.
“Hijack.”
“I’m on it. Watch the monitors to make sure no one sneaks up on my team.”
“I’ve got it,” Wendy says. “You help Hijack. We need our eyes and ears back.”
I grin. I’ll be kissing her again later because of the amazing woman she is. But for now, I focus on the task at hand, while watching the warriors outside the van. Hex is standing outside the packhouse so he can hear us and alert the others if something goes wrong.
