Jude took me to a set of locked doors, like an equipment room, where they keep all their techy stuff so we can get all the equipment we need for surveillance.
Each squad has five members, and both squads could be sent out, so I pull out ten body cameras, while Jude gets ear buds for everyone.
“How many did you get?” he asks me.
“Ten.”
“Get fifteen. Hijack and I need one, if I can convince your father to allow you to join us, you'll need one, your father will need one because I doubt he’s letting us go in alone after last time, and now that we have Councilman Charlie as interim council member, I’d be surprised if he doesn’t show up too.”
“You're going to ask dad if I can come too?” I ask excitedly.
