Even without Henry here, I slept better Thursday night than I had the night before, so on Friday I was ready to take on the Academy, my family, my future, Justine, and the whole damn world.
Alpha Michael let me know that he and I would meet with the leaders of the three elite teams on Monday night which is good. It gives me this weekend to try and contact Gavin, deal with Justine, and still have time to spend with my pack.
I smile. My pack. It feels good to have a place where I not only feel like I belong, but it feels like mine.
It’s the same this Friday as it was last Friday. I’m at the end of my last class of the day when Henry’s mind connects to mine. Fallon begins purring in our mind and I feel Henry and Tyrus brush against our consciousness, instantly relaxing me.
