Arden spent the better half of her evening searching for Hennessey. With every passing minute since dinner, her frustration sharpened into borderline anger. Hennessey wasn’t at her designated post; she wasn’t in her quarters, the dining hall, or even taking her scheduled break within the main palace. It was as if she had vanished entirely.
