“He’s going to f**k everything up because he can’t pull that pole out of his ass,” Thorne grumbled.
After leaving Magnus simmering in the roll call room, Arden had hurried down the corridor and outside to check on Thorne. When he felt her jog up to match his stride, those were the first words out of his mouth.
“Yeah, I told him just as much,” Arden replied, matching his frustrated pace. “Hopefully, hearing it from both of us will be enough to stop him from being so damn hard-headed.”
