I watched as Dr. John checked Katherina. He carried out a series of tests on her. He held the results and checked her again at my behest.
I wanted to make sure that all was well with her and the baby. I wouldn't disregard her health just because I'm mad at her at the moment.
"How is she?" I asked for the nth time.
"She is okay, Louis," Dr. John replied with a smile.
"Why did she pass out if she was okay?"
Dr. John placed the stethoscope around his neck and jotted something down on his notepad.
"She passed out from exhaustion but this is normal in pregnant women." I listened to him carefully so I would properly understand her condition.
However, I couldn't understand when passing out becomes normal.
