"What is wrong Carl?" Dr. John went closer to Carlos.
Dr. John couldn't stop wondering why Carlos was dejected instead of being joyful. He placed his hand on Carlos' shoulders.
Carlos walked away and went straight to his study room. He wanted to be alone. He couldn't show his weak side to anyone. Dr. John followed him.
"Carlos?" Dr. John called after him.
His eyes were on Carlos but Carlos' eyes didn't leave the results. He stared fixedly at the results as if he was dreaming.
He kept biting his tongue to wake himself from slumber. He wanted to be sure that be wasn't dreaming but despite biting himself for so long, nothing changed.
The results are the same.
He is having a child with Katherina.
Isn't that what he's always wanted? Why did he have to do all those things to her?
