Hearing that Katherina was fine gave me peace. I released my pent up breath and sat down. Finally I could breathe.
"Can I see her?" I asked, already moving to go in.
I would go to her even if the doctors do not permit me. I can only be at rest when I set my eyes on her.
"Of course, sir. You can go see her once she is transferred to the I.C.U," the doctor replied.
I was elated. My Katherina was okay. She survived. Nothing bad happened to her. I kept repeating that to myself.
I wanted to dance and jump, but I suppressed my happiness.
"Did you hear that?" Catalina jumped, hugging Ben. "Katherina is okay. Our sister is fine!"
"Yes, she is," Ben smiled. His eyes were laced with tears.
