"What happened to my wife?!" I shouted. My heart was gripped with fear.
From the way he spoke and took a long pause, I knew something bad must have happened to her.
He wouldn't take so long to speak If everything was alright.
"Can't you speak?! I yelled once again; startling Samantha.
She sat up and glanced upward so that she was looking directly at me. Her mouth opened and she mouthed the words,

I couldn't be bothered by her at the moment. What mattered to me was Katherina's safety and I'm sure that wasn't right, judging from the dead silence from the other end.
I grabbed my clothes and put them on in a rush. I was about to throw a cuss word at the guard who was on the line.
