Sabrina POV The cabin at the back of my mother’s estate lay a few miles from the house. It was small compared to her house, and had been used as a hunting retreat by the former owner. No I was going to use it as a different kind of retreat. I arrived breathless and sweaty from carrying the stupid kid. He seemed to weigh more with every step, and had continued to fight me the entire time, kicking and hitting me with his fists. The fear I felt, wondering if Nathan was somehow right behind me, was still nothing compared to the rage building up inside of me. I couldn’t believe that my plans had once again been ruined. How had he known I had something to do with Andy’s disappearance? And how had he known to come looking for us at my mother’s house?? Questions
