After his phone call with Jedediah, Poseidon went to find Candy. He tracked her down at Warlord and Fury’s townhouse, where she was helping Margot put the final touches on his former bedroom, which was currently being retrofitted into a nursery for Margot and Fury’s baby.
“Hey, ladies. Knock, knock,” Poseidon said, tapping lightly on the open door frame as he stepped inside.
“Hey, babe!” Candy greeted him warmly.
“Hi, Percy,” Margot smiled, smoothing out a freshly folded fitted sheet before placing it into the crib.
“How did your call go?” Candy asked, walking over to meet him and kissing him lightly on the cheek.
