When the group reached the conference floor, Terri led them to the largest conference room in the facility—a high-end space usually reserved exclusively for special meetings, which only Dorian, Allie, or Mikey had the authority to book.
“Alright, take a seat wherever you like, except at the head of the table,” Terri said, punching a security code into the keypad beside the door.
“Do all of the conference room doors have a keypad code?” one of the men asked.
“The larger rooms do, as only assistant directors or higher have access to book them.”
“So, if one of us tried to book it through the employee portal, we’d get an error message?” another new hire asked as they filed into the room.
