The rest of the week passed by in a flash and was seemingly uneventful. Poseidon and Candy continued to whisper and debate about Raelynn late into the night, doing their absolute best to keep the heavy conversations out of Hera’s earshot.
Unfortunately for them, their efforts were completely futile.
Hera had become a master of eavesdropping—a habit forged in survival that she couldn't just turn off like a light switch. As much as she hated clinging to such a toxic tendency, she found it necessary.
