While the guys were cashing out their chips, or rather, while Poseidon was gathering the meager remains of his cash, he received a mindlink from Candy. Her voice echoed clearly in his head, letting him know that their buzzer was flashing and they were heading back toward the restaurant. Poseidon quickly linked her back, letting her know they would meet them at the entrance.
A few minutes later, the group was back together in front of Gordon Ramsay Steak. Poseidon’s eyes immediately locked onto the two glossy shopping bags dangling from Candy’s hand. The moment he read the boutique name on the front, his eyes widened with sheer gratification. He knew exactly what Âme Rose specialized in, and he knew whatever was tucked inside those bags was going to be entirely for his benefit.
