I've been protecting her from the real me and I'm very afraid that when she finds out how much of Monster I am then she'll bolt.
I did this intentionally because I knew how much they were going to undermine her and try to scare her.
I don't want to lose her but she needs to see me for who I really am and maybe the questions that she has will stop when she finally realizes that she won't like the answers.
