As I sat at home, engrossed in my mom's heartfelt message, a warm smile spread across my face.
Her words, laced with longing, echoed in my mind: "I miss you so much... I've bought some gifts that you would love, and I'd love to see you again as well."
The distance between us seemed to melt away as I read her words, and I couldn't wait to reunite with her, even if it was just going to be for a very short time.
Just as I was about to reply, my fingers hovering over the keyboard, a knock at the door interrupted me. I rose from my seat, curiosity getting the better of me, and made my way to the door. When I opened it, I was taken aback to see Gigi standing there, a bright smile on her face.
"Oh my goodness, Gigi! What are you doing here?" I asked, surprised by her unexpected visit.
