Liam’s POV
My falling asleep at my desk caused more problems than just worrying Aria. The work I had intended to finish in the night was still overdue. This caused me to cram in so many emails and document reviews all morning. My workload was overflowing so much that I also had to work through lunch.
Aria would be disappointed if she discovered I ordered delivery again. She was worried about my health and I hadn’t been doing much to ease that worry. In fact, eating so much takeout and falling asleep at my desk, I’d only been making everything worse.
I wanted to save the team, but I knew working like this wasn’t sustainable. Sooner or later, my body would give out.
