Behind every great man is a great woman.
I never truly understood what this quote meant until I talked with my mama about my argument with my beautiful wife and after she gave me a good whack across the back of my head for in her words being a jackass, she gave me her opinion on the matter and told me what I should do with my wife to not only give her what she want but to also protect her while she's doing it.
She then told me that behind every great and successful man, especially one who lives the kind of life that we do is a strong woman supporting them in every step of their journey, so it's only fair that this great man stands behind his woman and protects her as she embarks on hers and I knew exactly what she meant by this.
