"Something's wrong with papa, Gio, he seems really sad"
"Yeah, I know and I think his strange mood has got something to do with our mama"
"Why do you say that?"
Gia asks me sounding confused as she continues to bounce up and down on my bed.
"First of all, Gia, stop bouncing on my bed"
"Why?"
She asks as her long dark curls bounce up and down with every jump she makes.
"Don't you remember what happened to your friend Maria when she was caught bouncing on her bed?"
I ask my sister who quickly stopped bouncing and parked her butt at the edge of my bed.
Yeah, I thought so, principessa.
"And secondly, Giana, I think papa is upset over mama because I overheard him tell our uncle Cello that she was taken"
