The cleanup is finally done. Magnus's ashes scattered. The battlefield cleared. Our dead prepared for burial.
I stand at the edge of the territory looking toward the direction of the safe house. Toward Aria.
Rowan walks over. "Everything is secure. The patrols are set. You should go get her now."
"The burials."
"Will happen when you return. Aria should be here for them. She knew these wolves too."
He's right. Aria was a warrior before she became Luna. She fought beside many of the wolves we lost. She deserves to be here when we honor them.
"Keep everything running while I'm gone," I say.
"I will. Take Cassian with you. He can use the time to clear his head about Leah."
