I had barely gotten out of the car when Mom grabbed me and started pulling me around the side of the clubhouse. The party was being held outside, and apparently the woman was impatient. However, when I saw the set-up she had for us, I could understand why.
It was beautiful. There were tables and chairs all over, lined with blue and pink tablecloths. Balloons were all around, there was even a blue and pink balloon archway. There was a table full of desserts with a little bumblebee cake that said, "what will it be?". The whole club was there. All our dads were cooking on a couple of grills. Everyone was having a few drinks and mingling. Tears filled my eyes as I took it all in.
