"Ladies, I think it's time for me to go," I told them, my eyes still on CG.
"What? Come on," Nova complained. "You just got here."
"She's been here for hours," Coco replied with a laugh.
"Yeah, but like... five men keep her busy! We miss her too!" Nova said, making us laugh again.
"We're on lockdown," Maddie stated like that solved everything.
"How about I come spend the day with you tomorrow?" I asked as I stood up. "We can make cookies for everyone. Make some of that tea Hazel likes and go visit her? Being on bedrest has got to suck, but I know for a fact that Reaper won't even let her walk to the bathroom on her own."
That earned more laughter all around.
