Unfortunately for me, I'm a biker through and through. I noticed Luca's feelings, but he never acted on them. I wasn't sure he ever would, and I didn't understand why. So, when Tori came onto me one night after we'd been drinking a bit, I didn't say no. Part of me hoped that it would make Luca so jealous he'd finally do something about his little crush.
However, that is not at all what happened. Tori became obsessed with me, and it took me way too long to realize it. She was great at playing mind games and pretending to be a damsel in distress. The more she acted out to get my attention, the more Luca and I grew apart. He never said anything to me about it, but I could see it in his eyes. Part of him hated me because I got the one thing he never could. That stupid girl's attention.
