“Sit,” I tell my son as he walks into the office. I called all the grandparents in. I need to be with Cora, but I have to handle Andrew instead.
There are two seats left at the table. One is across from me, right beside his father at the head of the table. The other is at the very end, beside Peter. To my surprise, he sits beside his grandfather. Good. I’m glad he’s scared of Seth right now.
“We need to discuss what you’ve done,” Seth says. He’s far too calm.
“We don’t need to discuss anything,” I interject. “That was some of the dumbest s**t you’ve ever done! Do you not realize how unsafe it was!”
