There is more going on than Andrew is telling me. I turned around just in time to see Laylah placing the crown on his head. From his reaction, I’m sure he saw some kind of memory of hers, but I don’t think she touched him.
“What’s wrong?” Molly asks, taking my hand. She looks at the kids. “Is that something we need to worry about?”
I sigh. “I don’t think so, but I’m not sure.”
I’m about to tell her that yes, maybe we should keep an eye on them when Laylah goes chasing after Tyler to straighten his crown. Then she turns to Liam and straightens his tie before she kisses his cheek. She’s so much like my mom. I can see that she’s not any different with Andrew than she is with all the others. Maybe it just seems like it because of how Andrew felt about her before.
