Fawn POV
I can't have heard him correctly. "I think you did," Juniper says. "No, there is no way we have been so informal with the king and queen of wolves. Hell, I even talked about them to them. Why would he bring us here?" I grip the chair, trying to slow my racing heart. Derek crouches in front of me. "Fawn, I need you to breathe. Nothing has changed now that you know," he says. I stare at him like he's lost mind.
"Are you kidding me? Your parents are royalty. You are royalty. You are a prince for goddess's sake. Why the hell were you even in the Fire Moon Pack to begin with?" He chuckles and I glare at him. "Fawn, my parents are the same people you met yesterday. Being king and queen doesn't change that," he says. I look toward Georgia, who offers me a reassuring smile.
