"Why do you seem extra pissy this morning," Arden asks. I growl at him as we make our way to the gates of the Golden Heart Coven. This is the last place I wanted to be today. My grandparents, aunt, and uncle are coming to meet with Fawn and I wanted to be there. I was hoping to have breakfast with Derek, Fawn and Anna before the meeting, but my father insisted I meet with Gerald, the coven leader.
I don't know why, but I wanted to stay for their meeting and make sure Fawn was alright. Listening to her yesterday talk about everything she had been through made me almost feral.
