Fawn POV
The entire drive to Fire Moon, Thorn keeps my hand in his. My mind conjures a hundred different ways today might go, but I know for sure that Seth isn't going to simply accept my rejection no matter how much I wish he would. Thorn squeezes my hand and offers me a reassuring smile as we approach the familiar ornate gate. My heart starts to beat hard against my ribs as we pull through and make our way toward the pack house I once considered my home.
"My parents are in Seth's office. Once we step out of the SUV, it is likely someone will alert him that you are here. Don't worry Fawn. I will keep you and our pup safe," Thorn says. He leans toward me pressing a kiss on my temple. "We both will," Anna says from the passenger seat. The driver opens the door and Thorn steps out first.
