Eric’s POV I haven’t felt this good in years. Sure, there’s some guilt about wrecking these poor bystanders cars-actually no there’s not. Not when Renees life is on the line. The angry mob is far behind us now, so Andrew and I jump off the hoods and bob and weave between the cars sitting idle in traffic. Every once in a while I catch a glimpse of some poor suckers expression of horror and I suppress a laugh. I slow down so Andrew can catch up with me. He looks as good as I feel. Our breathing is heavy and in sync, our fur is blown back, and blood bumps through our veins. I could go another twenty miles. And in all fairness, we might just have to. We may have lost the first crowd but I have a feeling angry investors are lurking everywhere in this city. “That was fun,” Andrew says.
