Cheryl’s POV
I barely made it to the dining room before the pain hit me. I couldn’t stand anymore and had to grab the back of a chair to catch myself. I am wasting away here, and I have to get out of here now. Kevin ran up to me to check on me with concern in his familiar blue eyes that match mine. It is me and him from now on, and I noticed that he has a mark on him. He has a black eye that he didn’t have before.
“What happened, Kevin?” I asked him. I already am pretty sure that this is his brother's handiwork, but as bullied as he has been getting lately by other jealous kids, I just don't know. I am thankful that it is about to be over.
