"Did you rob a bank or something?" Ellie asked as she looked around Dave's apartment for the first time. It was too big and luxurious for a guy in his tax bracket.
Dave explained to his younger sister how he got into the place through a friend of his boss. He was getting a deeply reduced rent in exchange for handling any problems from other tenants in the complex.
