It was a Saturday morning. Jolene texted me at 7:30 am, 'They just left. Waiting impatiently for you to brighten my day. Kiss, kiss.'
I was still napping. Only days after the vacation started, I tried to catch up with my lack of adequate sleep hours. The evening before, I attended our private end-of-senior-year party. It was fun for everybody due to the availability of alcohol and weed. It was especially fantastic for me and Aaron, as we were crowned queen and king of the students! It ended up at 3 am.
The phone buzz woke me up. I saw the message and cursed Jolene for calling me so early. I understood she was anxious to have me come as soon as possible, but I told her it couldn't be before 10 am! I'd have to teach her to listen better next time.
