I ran my fingers through sweet Lilly's hair. She smiled up to me as she squeezed me tight. She smiled up to the man who was her father. She smiled at the man who was given a tremendous responsibility and threw it out the window. Now that my senses were once again returning, I couldn't hide my concern.
