Kaius frowned. “What about them?” She shifted slightly. “With our sizes in wolf form… we won’t fit in here.” He hated to admit that she was right. Zeus was massive, and while Zola was smaller, she wasn’t exactly tiny. Shifting into their wolves for warmth was out of the question. Kaius sighed. “It seems we’ll have to sleep in human form, then.” Neither of them commented further on the implications of that fact. Instead, they focused on setting up makeshift sleeping areas with what little they had. The floor was rough, the thin blankets they had barely providing enough cushioning, and the fire, while warm, couldn’t combat the deep cold that had begun to creep in as the storm raged on outside.
