Kaius leaned in with a soft smile tugging at the corners of his lips, cupping Raya’s cheek with the gentlest reverence, and pressed a slow, lingering kiss to her lips, a promise sealed in warmth and purpose. When he pulled back, his forehead remained close to hers as he whispered, “I’ll arrange for your things to be moved to my chambers today. No more separate rooms.”
