We finished eating, and Ally is still in a foul mood. Dad is quiet, probably gathering his thoughts before he lectures his eldest. She wiped her lips with a napkin after a sip of water, then stood up, being the first to leave the table. Ardent was finished too, so he followed Daddy out. I still had a little food left on my plate, so I decided to finish it off.
Ally and I locked eyes. She’s still pissed about what I did. I didn't mean for it to go down like that, but I’m not about to apologize. Besides, Daddy was going to find out eventually. It’s Dad, after all, and nothing stays hidden from him for long.
"You’re such a killjoy," she whispered before taking a final bite.
"Are you so desperate for it that you’re bringing random guys home?" I asked. She glared at me so hard I actually win
