We spent the next hour looking over travel options, researching flights and hotels. One of the nice things about living in LA is that you can find direct flights to most places around the US, but getting in and out of LAX was still a pain, and we decided to do the drive instead. I figured twenty some hours in a car together over the course of a weekend would be as good of a test of our relationship as anything.
I'd never gone on a long road trip, as we'd always flown places for our family vacations, since both mom and Kelsey get car sick really easily.
